The bridal party traditionally consists of several of the grooms best friends or family that are male to assist and stand with the groom throughout the wedding day and leading up to it. The same goes for the brides and bridesmaids. Although this is the traditional form of a bridal party, Groomsmen and bridesmaid arent always the same sex as the rest of the group in their party.
