The Boca Raton Museum of art was established by artists in 1950 when it was known as the Art Guild of Boca Raton. The museum now encompasses an art school, Guild, store and museum with permanent collections of contemporary art, photography, non-western art, glass and sculpture.
The museum hosts traveling exhibitions from established and rising artists including the work of great master artists. The museum also has outdoor installations on display and hosts special events including weddings.
