Boca Raton Engagement Photography session for Crystal and Eric at the FAU football field and Morikami Japanese Gardens by Couture Bridal Photography

The Boca Raton Engagement Photography session story begins with Crystal hiring me to capture her engagement session and wedding day. Crystal and I planned to do some of her and her fiancés engagement pictures on the FAU football field and then continue at the Morikami Japanese Gardens. As it turned out we couldn’t get any pictures on the FAU football field because of the Boca Bowl, but we improvised and did some pictures around the outside of the stadium. Crystal wanted to make the most of her Boca Raton Engagement Photography session in order to create save the dates and invitations for her upcoming wedding.
Crystal and Eric are huge football fans and as part of their Boca Raton Engagement Photography wanted to display their love of the game and their teams. Crystal is a Steelers fan and Eric is a Patriots fan, so we created some fun playful images with football and their love for the game and each other as the centerpiece. We began Crystal and Eric’s Boca Raton Engagement Photography session started with easy natural poses then progressed to more playful photojournalistic images.
After the ending the FAU football field portion of Crystal and Eric’s Boca Raton Engagement Photography session they changed wardrobe and we drove over to the Morikami Japanese Gardens to continue their Boca Raton Engagement Photography. We arrived at the Morikami Japanese Gardens and began our engagement session on the beautiful and ornate bridge that goes over the lake. We then worked our way to the bamboo gardens and around the gardens to the buddha where Crystal and Eric decided to get goofy with the buddha for a great laugh.
The time of day we chose to start Crystal and Eric’s Boca Raton Engagement Photography session wasn’t the best due to the harsh lighting, but our saving grace was a partly overcast sky that helped soften the lighting. I used off camera flash during most of the engagement session which helps create depth and reduce shadows in the various images.
