Jenifer and Yeison hired me for their wedding photography in Coral Springs Florida. The wedding was planned as a large function but COVID-19 changed their wedding plans. Jenifer hired me to photograph her wedding beginning with the getting ready photos at her home. Her soon to be husband was also in the home with their immediate family preparing for the reception that would take place after the wedding ceremony at St. Andrew Catholic Church.
Ironically, it was discovered through casual conversation with Yeison that we had attended high school together in New York City over 20 years prior to us meeting during this wedding day. Additionally, he grew up in my neighborhood and we shared common friends. Furthermore, a friend whom I would be providing photography for his daughter was to be in attendance as well.
It was a great wedding and surprise to make friends with someone I did not recall but who remembered me, plus see and speak with another friend who was in attendance along with his wife and children who have been at my home.
After capturing a variety of images at the bride and grooms home, we drove to St. Andrew Catholic church for a wedding ceremony held in Spanish. The bride and groom both of South American descent and both families were Spanish speakers which made it easier for the older family members to understand.
After the wedding the bride and groom held a wedding reception in the backyard of their home where champagne was served and amazing Spanish cuisine was served.
